Camp AUM: Vet Camp (Grades 1-5)

Calling all animal lovers! Come discover what it takes to be a veterinarian and how to care for all types of animals as you learn how to use a microscope, practice your surgical skills on stuffed animals, visit a local veterinarian, and hear from a 4-H representative. You will have the chance to come up with diagnoses to case studies and find the answers to many animal-related questions. Should you brush your dog’s teeth? Do cats really have nine lives? Come find out. Even bring your pet on Friday for a pet parade!

Note: This camp includes a field trip to a local veterinarian clinic. There will be a pet parade on Friday from 11:45 a.m.-Noon. If you want your pet to participate, parents/guardians will be responsible for bringing the pet to class at 11:40 on the day of the parade and remaining with the pet until the conclusion of the parade.

This class is for Grades 1-2, click this link here to register for Grades 3-5.
