Project Management Professional Exam Prep Course
This course has one goal—to equip students to pass the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification exams. Through lecture, hands-on exercises, and sample test questions, participants will learn the information and gain the confidence needed to successfully take and pass the exam.

PMI's project management framework and definitions
The five project management process areas and how they relate to the knowledge areas
The ten project management knowledge areas and how to apply them in examples
How to analyze network diagrams and answer related questions
How to perform calculations related to earned value, risk, and quality
Prerequisites: Please visit the certification area of www.pmi.org and make certain that you satisfy the experience requirements for the PMP. Please bring a copy of the PMBOK® Guide Fifth Edition with you to class.
Seminar presenter Mary Lee Carter, PMP, is a consultant project manager with Alabama Banking Services and is available to work with small organizations to implement diverse projects. Previously she was a Project Coordinator with Colonial Bank PMO specializing in marketing & IT. From 1990-2000 she directed a regional leadership and community development organization and has initiated and directed multiple private & public grant projects.
