America's Godly Heritage and Early Prosperity as a Nation

Have you ever thought about what fundamental principles set us on a path to world leadership after we gained our independence in 1776? Schools no longer use books written centuries ago containing lessons which prepared people like Benjamin Rush, a signer of the Declaration of Independence who graduated Princeton at the age of 15. Great educators like John Witherspoon, a signer of the Constitution, educated one of our presidents, five vice presidents, three Supreme Court justices, twelve state governors, twenty-one senators, and thirty-nine congressmen. Learn how he and other educators set the United States on a path to greatness, a reputation which appears to be waning in recent years. Books like Blackstone's Commentaries, a guide for legal decisions from 1765 until early in the 20th century, and school textbooks like the Blue Back Speller, the New England Primer and others contained lessons which are unchanging. Yet, forces within and outside of government have been successful in excluding those lessons which are unchanging. Yet, forces within and outside of government have been successful in excluding those lessons from current textbooks to the detriment of our society. There will be recorded source material with time for open discussion which is highly encouraged.
