Obtaining information from victims, witnesses, and suspects is an art not a science. To the extent that officers understand this concept, officers will be successful in obtaining complete and accurate information. This two-day course will address basic Interview and Interrogation communication concepts as well as advanced methods of successfully obtaining information.

How an interview should be organized
Methods of improving Listening Skills
The essentials of building and assessing Rapport
Ways to deal with Angry People
Telephone Interview do's and don'ts
How to recognize and accommodate Multicultural Interviews

Neuro-linguistic Analysis and Statement Analysis
Course instructors (Margaret Faulkner and Lou Harris) are retired federal law enforcement agents with over 50 years of practical experience and academic credentials.
